We offer our customers the following bicycle repairs performed by Cytech master technician:

- replacement of the brake cables and/or brake blocks (for the rim brakes only) and adjustment of the brakes
- lubrication and adjustment of the bottom bracket (for the adjustable bottom brackets only)
- replacement of the gear cables and adjustment of gears
- lubrication and adjustment of the hubs
- replacement of the tubes and tyres
- wheel repairs & truing
- bespoke service

In addition, we can also offer advice on second-hand bike purchases, bike sales or an assessment of bikes following an accident. Our mechanic is also available for consultations with individuals and companies wishing to get professional advice on workshop settings, risk assessments, logistics, shop management and workshop processes.
Your bicycle repair appointment
The bicycle repair will be carried outside, please make sure there is enough space to park a small car plus about the same to unfold the portable bicycle stand and do the work. We would be grateful if you can provide any specific information about available space, which you can include in the comment when booking.

Our service area covers most of Newbury, if you live outside this area we still might be able to help – just send us details.
We pride ourselves in providing timely service, nevertheless please allow up to extra 15 minutes for our visit, especially during the busy times. Before the appointment with our mechanic, please ensure that your bicycle is clean, so we can deliver a quick and efficient service.
We charge £30/hour for bicycle repair and servicing (the price excludes the bicycle parts and consumables used for the job). After the initial bicycle check, once we’ve agreed the solution, we’ll provide you with a full and easy to understand quote for what the work will cost and how long it should take. You can pay for the service by cash or using PayPal (the PayPal link is emailed to you in advance if you are booking the bicycle repair through our website).
